Arches provides support to individuals aged 16 and above with mental health needs, complex needs and/or learning difficulties in a person centered way to build independent living skills in their own homes and in the community. The role entails working in one household per shift (and not travelling from house to house), providing emotional support and also supporting with practical daily life tasks such as cooking, cleaning, managing finances, shopping and community activities etc.

Arches prides themselves with a supportive management team and on-call service. Administration skills are also required as well as the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Full and Part time positions available as well as sleep-in and waking night shifts. The role is flexible covering weekdays, evenings and weekends as well as bank holidays (enhanced bank holiday rates). Shifts for the whole month are given in advance and a variety of shifts are available to suit most people’s work and home life balance. There is also opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
