Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Technical Trainer (specialising in Networking and Cloud / Infrastructure). This is a remote WFH role, specialising in delivering technical training programmes to our client's apprentices who are predominantly doing the Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship or Level 4 Network Engineer.

Further role responsibilities:

- Create delivery sessions to ensure full participation and engagement from learners to ensure inclusivity and different methods of assessment. Be able to measure understanding and progress
- Review the facilitated training at regular intervals, set tasks and targets and ensure that these are met
- Review e-learning training and ensure learners understanding. Set continued targets and put regular checks in place
- Fully support Technical Coaches to help upskill them in their specific SME area of delivery and hold regular 'drop in sessions'
- Review materials regularly and ensure they are current and authentic, fit for purpose, and meet the regulatory standards of quality assurance, and ensure they are standardised
- Communicate fully and work as a team player across several areas of the business. Must be able to provide full written and verbal feedback to colleagues

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

- Educated to GCSE in English and Maths A-C or equivalent and be able to prove Continual Professional Development (CPD)
- Competent in the area of delivery
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure & AWS
- Excellent time management
- ICT literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work in a team

Desirable:

- Hold a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (QCF) or a teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS, DTTLS or CTTLS
- Relevant Technical qualifications
