Clarinet Tutor

Yorkshire Young Musicians is seeking to appoint a **Clarinet Tutor **to join the teaching team to deliver high quality tuition to students at the **Leeds Centre**.

Applicants should have a proven track record of teaching and nurturing young musicians and be able to encourage children to achieve their musical potential within a balanced and supportive environment. Tuition takes place on Sundays in Leeds during term time.

Hourly paid: £36.03 per hour

YYM provides access to the highest quality music tuition to promising young musicians, regardless of means, social or ethnic background, or whether they have any disability. We run two music centres on Sundays in term time at Leeds Conservatoire and The Albemarle Music Centre Hull.

YYM aims to identify and nurture exceptional talent in all areas of performance and across a wide range of genres and traditions. Carefully managed auditions - looking for potential and not just existing achievements - help identify those who will benefit from YYM’s training.

YYM’s tutors are specially selected for their experience in the care and development of young musicians. They are active musicians at the top of their profession, well placed to equip students with all that they need to take their musical studies to the highest possible level. A friendly and caring team that has the importance of the student’s learning as paramount.
