**Hours**:Between 2 daily hours (10 hours a week) and 5 daily hours (20 hours a week)

**Weeks**: Term-time plus 2 weeks - total 38 weeks

**Salary**:£4,241.75 - £10,604.38 per annum based on working pattern

In the role of cleaner, you’ll be based at one of our several campus buildings, and your focus will be on making sure that the college campus is a clean and welcoming place for students to learn, and staff to work in. To maintain the highest possible standards of hygiene and cleanliness at the College in a manner which is safe both to the post holder and to others.

Your key responsibilities will be to carry out cleaning duties in accordance with COSHH regulations and following the agreed processes, and to ensure that when operating electrical machinery all aspects of safety are adhered to, and carried out according to industry standards.

Ideally, you’ll have demonstrable experience of working in an establishment over 10,000m2, and the ability to use machinery to perform cleaning processes. It’s important that you’re able to work on your own initiative and be a reliable member of the team. You must be able to communicate in an easy and effective manner with all members of the college community in accurate spoken English, and be able to follow instruction. You will also be required to demonstrate and understand our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
