We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised person to join the IMPlementation and Capacity building Team (IMPaCT), Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Unit, to contribute to the research profile of the University by conducting world-leading research in the Applied Health Research hub (AHRh). To take responsibility for the provision of high-quality research, implementation, evaluation and scholarly activity within health services research projects.

The successful applicant will hold a Doctorate in health or methodological area relevant to health and have previous research experience in the area of health services research. They should also have proven ability or potential to generate external funding to support high-quality research projects and demonstrate the ability to conduct world-leading research. Previous experience of bidding for research project funding from major funding sources is essential, as well as a track record of high-profile research publications in recognised, high impact journals.

The postholder should be able to work independently and as part of a team on research, development and teaching, and be able to contribute and support the whole research endeavours of AHRh.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
