Head of Logistics

As Logistics Operative you will be:

- Managing all aspects of a warehouse of products including setting up layouts, ensuring efficient space utilisation, maintaining stock levels and organising the storage area whilst maintaining supplies
- The main point of contact between the customer, internal staff, suppliers and transport companies regarding orders, deliveries and collections
- Packing and unpacking stock into boxes, loading, unloading, moving, stacking products and materials
- Providing high levels of customer satisfaction by receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods to high standards
- Working alone within the warehouse and as part of a team in an office environment
- Sorting paperwork, handling data and updating systems
- Adhering to relevant legislation including health and safety, hygiene, security, handling and shipping

To be considered for this Logistics Operative role, you will need:

- Previous logistics or warehouse experience or similar
- Proven ability to work independently and responsibly with mínimal supervision
- Excellent IT skills including data entry, updating systems and the use of MS Office Packages
- Excellent organisational, time management, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK Drivers licence as travel will be required

This is a full time, permanent role offering an annual salary IRO £26-27k depending on skills and experience PLUS a range of employee benefits including incentives and a trust based working environment.

You’ll be based in Holywell working 40 hours per week within the warehouse hours of 7am to 6pm (some flexibility may be on offer).
