Are you someone that enjoys all things IT and is even more excited to share your knowledge with others? If so, we have an opportunity that will allow you to get your hands on a diverse collection of technology.
This position will allow you the chance to showcase your knowledge across multiple platforms, whilst working directly with the Global IT Manager to drive policy and procedures.
You will be assisting in the review of current technologies used and provide direct feedback into how the company can do it better in the future.
This is an on-site position, and therefore you will need to be within commutable distance of Cirencester.
The skills you should have:
- The ability to create dynamic training materials including screenshots/videos for users.
- The ability to identify patterns in issues that can be used to create FAQs for easy user understanding.
- Onboarding/ Offboarding new staff on process and procedure for issue resolution.
- Experience with Version Control Systems to support system management.
- Assist in standing up new IT infrastructure (physical or virtual).
- Advanced Experience with Microsoft Windows operating Systems (Desktop and Servers), O365 & Azure.
- Experienced with virtualised computing infrastructure and private clouds.
- Networking - TCP/IP Networks, VPNs, Firewalls(Cisco), Switches (Cisco), SDWAN.
- Wi-FI AP configuration and maintenance (Cisco, advantageous)
- Understanding backup job reports and carry out troubleshooting.
