About the company:
Our client is a global brand, offering quality furniture displayed in their impressive showrooms to customers. The company prides themselves on the highest level of customer service, offering expert advice on interior design and space planning. The teamis made up of individuals who are trained in the industry, such as interior design, furniture design, architecture, têxtiles and other creative industries.

The Role:
As a Design Consultant, you will join an enthusiastic and well-established team, using your passion for interiors to promote and sell an extensive range of furniture.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Customer Advising: Advising customers based on their furniture requirements, utilising showroom stock, brochures and other marketing materials, discussing range, configurations and fabric options. You may also propose alternatives to stock, such as customordered items based on customer preference.
- Increasing Sales Potential: Following up customers on sales leads generated through our website, direct mail and showroom visits to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised. Ensuring there is always a sales presence in the showroom and customersare assisted. This will include weekend work and also may include early evening work as required.
- Day-to-Day Showroom Management: Support the showroom manager, and ensure the showroom, office and ancillary areas are clean, tidy and well stocked with brochures, marketing material and samples where appropriate.
- Inventory Control: Ensuring all stock is correctly labelled and priced and such changed in accordance to promotional activity. Liaising with the logistics and warehouse team to ensure all deliveries are arranged correctly.
- Sales Admin: Creating quotations, sales receipts and delivery notes for all enquiries and sales. Paperwork should be correctly filled and entered within our order system. Ensuring delays and errors are avoided by paying high attention to detail and creatingdaily checklists.

About You:

- You are personable, charismatic, and enthusiastic, with a keen interest in interiors
- You have a passion for selling and wanting to excel in a retail environment
- You’re a person of great intelligence and confidence with people
- Ideally, you have a background in luxury sales, customer facing roles or have qualifications in interiors
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sound administration and IT competence
- It’s an additional bonus if you have experience in design programs such as Sketch Up
