A **SHEQ Advisor** is required in Sheffield, for a market leading utilities business, who looking to appoint a SHEQ Advisor to support their multi-utility construction projects, primarily in the Midlands and North regions.

- **Responsibilities**:_
- Compliance with industry standards, internal processes and leads from the front on delivering sustainable improvements in SHEQ culture.
- Conduct health and safety audits observing workers to ensure they are following company policies and highlight any non-conformances.
- Conduct SHEQ Audits and Inspections on site and projects to ensure legal compliance and identify potential Health Safety and Environmental hazards and risks
- Carrying out site safety inductions and monitoring safety critical training requirements, advising and training staff on best work practices
- **Experience & Qualifications**:_
- ISO 9001/14001/45001 experience is necessary and an ability to deliver training would be desirable
- NEBOSH qualified
- You must be a solution-orientated individual, with an ability to identify and quickly rectify issues
- Able to fully prioritise own workload and manage your own diary effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A full UK driving license, along with a flexible approach to travel (car or car allowance provided)
