**Your role and responsibilities**

We are looking for a passionate RVN to join our dedicated soft tissue nursing team

The hospital is staffed by highly skilled RVN's 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide high level referral and ECC care to our patients.

Our soft tissue department included 3 European diplomate specialist surgeons, and surgical resident, 5 experienced RVN's and a student veterinary nurse.

The day to day of the running of the soft tissue department includes complex inpatient care, anaesthesia for diagnostic imaging and surgical procedures including abdominal and thoracic surgeries, as well as working with wound management cases. The nursing team works closely with our anaesthesia department, as well as ICU, oncology and internal medicine teams. Opportunity to scrub into advanced soft tissue surgeries, as well as training and development support with CPD provided with our specialists. External CPD including further education is fully encouraged and funded.

Excellent social and clinical skills are a must, as well as the ability to commit to a rolling rota including weekend and bank holiday shifts. Previous referral nursing experience is preferred, but not essential, as we offer training and support to fully qualified RVNs joining the practice from primary care.
