**About The Role**:
**Sustainability Advisor**

**Location: Glasgow - with some UK travel**

Here at GRAHAM we are recruiting for a permanent **Sustainability Advisor**, based in our Glasgow Office with projects across Scotland, Northern Ireland and North England.

This is an opportunity to step away from a standard/consultancy assessor role and work on the front line of Sustainability in the built environment.

GRAHAM **Sustainability Advisor** will be responsible for:
**Bid Team Support**
- Provide assistance to the Bid Team including tender reviews and bid responses
- Regular liaison with Bid Team to provide guidance and support on current, and future sustainability metrics and targets such as Net Zero Carbon

**BREEAM / DREAM**
- Liaise with project teams on contract award to highlight BREEAM requirements
- Undertake BREEAM & DREAM assessments for GRAHAM projects as/when necessary
- Provide BREEAM & DREAM guidance and assistance to project and site team as/when necessary
- Regular liaison with BREEAM/DREAM Assessors and APs
- Ongoing support to regional projects to ensure sustainability compliance, including site visits and progress reports

**Sustainability Matrix**
- Develop, manage and monitor bespoke sustainability assessments for Clients that desire an

alternative to BREEAM
- Ongoing support to regional projects to ensure sustainability compliance, including site visits and progress reports.

**Net Zero Carbon Assessments**
- Provide support, manage and monitor progress of net zero carbon projects including embodied & operational carbon assessments.
- Support GRAHAM project team with collation of supporting evidence for embodied & operational carbon assessments

**General**
- Attendance at project meetings to identify opportunities to improve sustainability
- Ongoing support to regional projects to ensure sustainability compliance, including site visits and progress reports
- Provide support to the Community Engagement Team to deliver KPIs including site-based community activities, educational support and STEM Ambassador events etc.
- Provide guidance on regulation and legislation change that will impact projects
- Develop and build relationships with industry peers, consultants and Clients
