**Painter**

AJ Home Improvements is a full-service interior design firm based in Kent. We are looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for painting interior and exterior spaces, as well as assisting with the preparation of projects.

**Duties**:

- Preparing jobs for painting including preparation of walls, trim, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Painting by using various tools and equipment
- Cleaning up paint and other messes left behind during painting
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
- Performing daily cleaning duties to ensure that the job is maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

**Experience**:

- 2 years of experience in a similar position preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a commercial environment preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of interior design preferred but not required.
- Good communication skills (verbal & written) required.

Work required - Insurance work, subsidence fire and flood

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £180.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- painting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Public Liability (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
