Due to internal progression, we are looking for a new Office Clerk / Receptionist to provide administrative support and some reception cover for our busy Long Eaton office. Duties will include maintaining computerised and manual files, scanning and photocopying documents, opening and closing files, managing with the post and providing reception cover, both face to face and over the telephone.

You must have previous administrative experience and be able to work quickly and accurately, coupled with excellent IT, customer care and communication skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintain confidentiality and have a professional, organised, and methodical approach to work are essential.

Ellis-Fermor and Negus is a multi-disciplinary high street legal practice based in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Our mission is to establish lifelong relationships with our clients by anticipating and responding to their needs for quality legal services. We work in a range of disciplines including commercial property, residential conveyancing, wills and probate, commercial business, family law, litigation, employment and charity law.

We are seeking to expand our team of experienced (qualified and unqualified) locums to ensure we continue to look after our clients during times of annual leave or other absences.

Currently, we need locums for our commercial property teams in Beeston, in Nottingham and Belper, in Derbyshire. For these roles you must have significant experience of handling small-medium size commercial property sales, purchases and leases from start to finish and have experience of acting on behalf of both landlords and tenants.

We would also be keen to hear from you if you can provide locum cover in our other disciplines.

For all of our locum roles you must be highly experienced in your area of practice, able to hit the ground running, have excellent communication and IT skills, able to work to tight deadlines, manage your own workload and give excellent client care. You will need to be self-motivated, flexible, able to work on your own and as part of a team and have a caring and professional manner. Please note that these are office based roles and not available for remote working.

Remuneration will be commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
