Spinal Homecare Services provides high quality specialist support on a live in basis for adults with spinal cord injury throughout the UK. We are looking to recruit Live In Spinal Carers who must be a driver.

We are seeking competent and patient female carers who would happily live within the home of our clients, who may be married with families, they may work full time or part time or live on their own in the community with friends and family nearby.

The purpose of this role is to provide support, companionship, and care in the client’s own home, to manage their daily activities, personal care, medication, supporting with housework, administration and other care duties as identified by the client’s care plan, as well as being patient and understanding with a calm and friendly approach to their needs.

**What we are looking for from you**:

- It would be great if you have experience supporting clients with spinal cord patients in a care setting, but it is not essential as FULL training is provided.
- Genuine, kind, patient, compassionate, caring nature.
- Reliable and committed to making a difference ‘every day’ to our clients and assisting their needs fully based on their current care plan.
- Knowledge and experience of Spinal Cord Injury and Bowel Management (provided in training)
- Our in-house training to be completed before first placement commences.
- To have the ability to communicate well with management, client and or family members.
- Driver is essential preferable of a manual car

**What we offer in return**:

- Pay rate from £749.00 per week (paid monthly) + a weekly food allowance of up to £49.00
- Time and a half or double pay on Bank Holidays
- Free DBS, training including Mandatory and Care Certificate.
- Ongoing support and supervision in the client’s home from our dedicated team.
- Round the clock support and an ‘out of hours’ service in case of emergencies.
- Travel expenses paid for to and from placements
