Dog Groomer

Shampooch is a well established grooming salon located in the village of Snainton, Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

We are looking for a self employed dog groomer to join our team on a full or part time basis. The role will be renting a table within our spacious and fully facilitated salon where everything will be provided for apart from personal equipment such as scissors, clippers, sprays etc.

The salon is a wonderful, calm and caring environment for the dogs, staff and clients with a spacious open plan grooming room, plenty of onsite parking, an outside enclosed toilet area for the dogs, separate seated consultation/reception area, staff room, air conditioning/heating and access to the highest quality equipment.

The ideal groomer will have relevant qualifications, at least 2 years salon experience, and be able to carry out a wide variety of grooms to a high standard independently. We are a very supportive team so help is on hand if needed but please be aware this is not a training role or a position suitable for newly qualified groomers.

Full or time working options are available across 7 days with very competitive rental rates.

There will also be a potential opportunity to take over one groomer’s pre existing clientele base due to upcoming maternity leave.
