**Job Content & Purpose**:
Working as an embedded practitioner and part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide an

integrated therapeutic service. To work with children and young people to provide high quality assessment, direct and indirect therapy. To provide consultation, training and modelling to educational and residential staff. To provide (as required) line managementand clinical supervision to Therapists within the allocated setting or region.

**Responsibilities**:
Use advanced specialist knowledge and levels of experience appropriately and

effectively across a range of work practices which is underpinned by comprehensive and

extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

To undertake high quality assessments of children and young people and make

recommendations about appropriate therapeutic interventions for each child or young

person, in accordance with individual assessed needs.

To work closely with children, young people and their staff to ensure a personalised plan of

delivery.

To provide line management and clinical supervision to allocated Therapists within the

region or setting.

To support the recruitment and induction process and offer ongoing mentoring and

coaching for clinical colleagues as required.

To participate in service and practice development.

To undertake management and leadership roles as required within the setting/region

e.g chairing/facilitation of meetings.

To identity training needs, develop and facilitate training sessions to staff and

parents/carers.

To promote and facilitate Reflective Practice.

To prepare high-quality reports and quality assure reports.

Great Salary £52.000- £58.000 (depending on experience)

**You will have**:
**Essential**

Registered as an Therapist with the HCPC or the appropriate regulating body for the therapeutic

mode e.g BAPT, BACP, UKCP etc.

Minimum of 5 years experience working with children and young people as an Therapist.

Experience of supervising other Therapists.

Car driver / Access to own vehicle.

**Desirable**

Experience practicing within an education or residential setting

Supervisor qualification

Identified area of specialist practice.
