We are an independent company based in Deeside, North Wales, specialising in working at height access products and solutions. Since the mid-1970, we have developed and supplied safe and simple quality access products with our award-winning **POP UP IQ LIFTS**, our unique **MI TOWER **range of access solutions, our traditional **EIGERTOWER **aluminium tower range and a full range of other access products including **DELTADECK**.

**Job description**

**Reports to: Product & Technical Director**

**KEY Responsibilities**
- Assist the Product and Technical Director in the end-to-end management of the existing access product portfolio.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:

- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyse data and gather insights to support product decision-making.
- Monitor market conditions and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- **Project Coordination**:

- Assist in project planning and coordination, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to drive product development efforts.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- **Communication and Documentation**:

- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate product strategies, goals, and updates.
- Assist in preparing materials for meetings, including agendas and meeting minutes.
- Development Support:

- Support the Product and Technical Director in defining product requirements and specifications.
- Assist in user testing and feedback collection to validate product concepts and features.
- Assist in coordinating product launches, including creating marketing materials and coordinating promotional activities.
- Continuous Improvement:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and customer needs.
- Propose process improvements and suggest innovative ideas to enhance product development and management processes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a technical role, preferably within the low-level access equipment or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical acumen and understanding of product development processes, including sourcing, evaluation, and quality control.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and product specification writing.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards pertaining to low-level access equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Relevant further education such as HNC, HND or Degree in engineering, product management, or a related technical field would be preferable.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
