**Warehouse Operative (Part-time with possibility of full time in future)**

**Hours**:Mondays and Wednesdays 09:00 to 17:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

**Salary**: £22,050 pro rata (actual: £8,820 per annum)

Please note that this role is warehouse based and there is no option for hybrid or remote working.

**What we are looking for?**

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to work as part of the team to ensure that the high standards and full circle life of goods in and goods out are maintained at Rockett St George.

You will be part of a team with a “can do” attitude, we require someone who can multi-task and have a good eye for detail. You will be part of the team who will assist with the Goods in, Picking, Packing and Dispatch. To be successful, we are looking for someone who can work well in a team, be self-motivated, independent at times, supportive of other team members, willing to support us reaching our goals, unafraid to join in as well as being safety conscious.

Previous experience working in a Warehouse would be advantageous but not necessary.

**Job Description - Warehouse Operative (Goods In)**

Day to day tasks include, but are not limited to:
**Goods In**
- Responsible for replenishment of items from the goods-in area to the picking areas
- Unloading delivery including containers using both manual or correct machinery
- Ensure quantity of stock is checked against internal stock management system
- Ensure stock in Warehouse is kept tidy
- Help in the picking and packing department when necessary
- You will take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work, along with adhering to the company’s legal requirements for Health and Safety.
- The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation within your salary range.

- Good computer knowledge - We will train you on our order management system
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy and various size objects using appropriate equipment

**Skills and Experience**:

- Warehouse experience - 1 year (desirable)
- Forklift licence (desirable)

**PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VERY ACTIVE ROLE AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MOVE HEAVY OBJECTS AROUND THE WAREHOUSE.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £8,820.00 per year

Expected hours: 14 per week
