**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out groundworks tasks as directed by the site supervisor or project manager.
- Operate a dumper in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and excavation of construction sites.
- Lay and compact foundations, concrete, and other materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Install drainage systems and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes and to the required quality standards.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- Dumper ticket (NPORS or CPCS) is mandatory.
- Proven experience in groundworks, including excavation, foundation laying, and drainage installation.
- Familiarity with operating a dumper and other relevant construction machinery.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Punctuality and reliability to adhere to the assigned work schedule.
