We are currently looking for dynamic individuals to join our Team of Lead coaches to work Part time hours In the Coleraine and Limavady area

(There may be scope to add further classes/days/locations over time.)

The desired coach needs to be flexible, passionate about sports and working with children and parents, hold a driving license & have access to a car to transport equipment.

Martial arts experience necessary, we are looking for someone who is great with young children, enjoys being active, is dynamic, full of energy and enthusiasm, and not afraid to have lots of fun when assisting a qualified instructor.

Savage Martial Arts offer fun, structured martial arts sessions for children aged from 3 to 17 years old. Our instructors deliver sessions with energy, enthusiasm, and excitement, to create an atmosphere that is unique and engaging for children and parents alike. We do this by delivering our specifically designed programme for each age group in a fun, dramatic, and entertaining way, taking the children on a journey of sporting imagination whilst teaching them character development and physical technique movements. The main objectives are for the children to have fun and grow in confidence during their time with us.

Assistant Coach - main responsibilities:

- Lead, motivate and engage with the children in your classes
- Work though the SMA programme to teach the basic core skills used in a fun and structured environment
- Sell suitable programmes based on children’s ability to parents/guardians.
- Demonstrate games and skills with enthusiasm and energy, and provide positive feedback to the children
- Plan the sessions, ensure class start and finish on time, and engage with parents
- Driving license required

- Excellent organisational, verbal communication and listening skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work in the UK

Please also note that an Access NI check will need to be completed by successful applicants.

Desirable attributes:

- Experience of working with young children and/or previous coaching experience. This is desirable but not essential for somebody with the personality we are looking for.
- A passion for sports (ideally martial arts but not essential)
- Excellent organisational, communication and listening skills.
- An extremely outgoing personality who can keep children entertained.
- If available, be able to cover other or additional classes in emergencies etc.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £9.00-£15.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coleraine, County Londonderry: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
