A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced professional to undertake the role of Head of Finance Systems and Reporting.

You will be a forward thinker and have expert knowledge of financial and procurement systems with a proven track record in delivering highly efficient integrated financial systems that add value to the services.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability and data security of all financial systems across the Trust. You will work closely with finance, procurement, operational and digital stakeholders to drive change in order to evolve the platform to underpin business success.

You will provide leadership in the technical aspects of finance, procurement and contracting data and information reporting and seeking to actively improve reporting through the applied use of existing and new technology.

The role will also support users of finance systems providing specialist knowledge of business systems and processes.

Ensure the security and reliability of our finance, procurement and contracting systems, including access controls, data integrity, and system interfaces.

Monitor system performance and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational queries and issues.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation and work with users and digital teams to implement enhancements.

Develop and maintain comprehensive, live, agile and intuitive financial reporting suite that will support internal and external stakeholders in decision making and reviewing financial performance.

Lead on financial system projects, both internally and in collaboration with other departments.

Respond to support requests, provide user training, and enhance user experience.

Maintain accurate configuration and data changes, adhering to documentation and auditing standards.

Lead with digital teams on system upgrades, validation, and performance testing.

Support users in day-to-day processes, periodic tasks, and reporting.

Drive continuous improvement in both efficiency and governance in finance systems / processes, including prioritising and taking the project lead on finance system related projects
