**£45,000 to £55,000 DOE + Subsidised Healthcare + Group Life Assurance + CIPS Funding + 24 Days Holiday + Discretionary Annual Bonus**

**Flexible Working Hours Monday to Friday (8am-4pm, 8:30am-4:30pm, 9am to 5pm, 9:30am to 5:30pm) with the opportunity to work remotely on an adhoc basis.**

- Experience working in a procurement role within a relevant manufacturing industry background would be advantageous however the most crucial attribute you will have is experience working with very short lead times.
- Working closely with the Head of Procurement, the Senior Buyer will oversee a considerable annual budget and will play a pivotal role in defining and improving the department's procurement strategies. The company currently work within a 24 hour lead time so forecasting and planning is key.**Key Responsibilities**
- Take a lead role in procurement planning and forecasting
- Develop and improve procurement strategies to improve efficiency
- Analyse the day-to-day requirements of manufacturing sites in both UK and USA
- Conduct regular reviews of contracts with suppliers to ensure continued competitiveness and value

**Key Skills**:

- Experienced procurement professional
- Experience using ERP system
- Supervisory/managerial experience would be advantageous
- Strategic sourcing and category management experience
- Any industry background - manufacturing preferable
- CIPS qualification minimum level 4 ideally- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Confident liaising and negotiating with suppliers, a go-getter and persistency is crucial
