Bid Writer

**Bid Writer (Yeovil/Portishead)**:
Jones Building Group are looking to recruit a Bid Writer for the Group to provide a comprehensive service to continue our business growth within the public sector markets.

The post holder will have a significant input into the design and production of tender documents and bidding for public sector works whilst observing the Public Procurement Regulations and associated compliance.

You should be passionate and committed and ideally come from a similar role, working with frameworks, portals and completing tender documents successfully.

Previous bid writing skills would be good although not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete selection questionnaires, due diligence forms and compile first class quality tender submissions.
- Participating in review meetings / final document review, content sign off and document production.
- Become the knowledge manager responsible for maintaining accessibility to high-quality documents, diagrams and standard company information and other bid management resources.
- Undertake portal management in order to maintain full transparency of opportunities, submission of messages and circulation of clarifications.
- Manage internal requests for support and information.

As the Bid writer, you will have:

- Exceptional attention to detail, strong written English and take pride in your approach to ‘what good looks like’.
- Drive and ambition to grow and evolve within the role.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence when communicating with a variety of stakeholders.
- Outstanding organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and work under pressure.
- Previously worked in a bid management role

This role would be suited to an experienced Bid Co-ordinator, writer or recent graduate open to develop their existing skills to suit a procurement role with a competitive market salary offered based on experience
