Cutting Edge Woodwork Ltd offer a high quality bespoke CNC wood machining service to commercial customers at our workshops in Sheffield. Due to increased demand we are looking for a 5 Axis CNC router operator apprentice to join our team and support the 5 axis programmer.

All parts of the role will be taught on the job, you will be part of a team of highly skilled woodworkers and CNC operators and there will be opportunities to learn from them and develop your own knowledge and skills.

Role:

- Working as part of a small team
- Upkeep of CNC routers and surrounding areas (tidiness + day to day maintenance)
- Preparing materials pre-manufacture and doing some assembly or sanding work post machining
- Packaging jobs ready for shipping
- Tooling and sharpening
- Inputting programs into the machines and starting cycles
- Setup of machinery
- Some basic programming
- Perform quality control checks

Skills required:
There will be opportunities for advancement for a motivated individual with a passion for learning.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £8.50-£10.50 per hour
