**Role & Responsibilities**
The Airworthiness Records & Planning Supervisor plays a pivotal role within RVL Aviation Limited, responsible for the department overseeing the meticulous processing of aircraft records and planning, in alignment with company protocols and regulatory mandates. This role is ideally suited for an individual who is proactive, goal-oriented, and possesses a keen eye for detail. Previous expertise in airworthiness, specifically in technical records and planning, is essential for this position.
- Supervise Technical Records & Planning department, ensuring strict adherence to UK CAA Regulations and Company Policies.
- Maintain the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and integrity of the company’s aircraft records and maintenance data.
- Develop and manage a records system facilitating efficient retrieval of aircraft records.
- Forecast and plan all maintenance activities.
- Generate, distribute, and manage line and base maintenance work packs and task cards in accordance with the approved maintenance program.
- Monitor deferred defects' status to ensure fleet compliance with ongoing airworthiness requirements.
- Supervise fleet subscriptions to ensure timely updating of maintenance data.
- Record daily aircraft flight times, defects, and rectification actions.
- Coordinate with Part 145 MROs to ensure timely return of completed maintenance records as per contractual obligations.
- Conduct audits of post-maintenance paperwork, technical log pages, and logbook entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process all maintenance records into computer-based programs (e.g., OASES, CAMP).
- Generate utilisation reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with UK CAA Regulations and Lessors Requirements for archive storage of aircraft records.
- Record all completed maintenance, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and Modifications accurately in relevant Aircraft/Engine Logbooks.
- Liaise with Lessors and Auditors, providing necessary documents and addressing queries.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to reduce aircraft downtime, facilitating efficient planning to optimise aircraft availability and utilisation while ensuring dispatch reliability and flight safety remain uncompromised.
- Innovate new processes and procedures or enhance existing ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Execute tasks delegated by the Technical Director.
**Qualifications & Role Requirements**
- Previous experience processing technical data within Part-145 or Part-CAMO environment.
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
- Methodical with acute attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision or as part of a team.
- Excellent oral, written & presentation skills in English.
- Hold a full clean, driving license.
- Eligible to work and reside within the United Kingdom.
- Hold a valid Passport.
**Desirable**
- Experience of Textron (Beechcraft), Reims (ASI Aviation) & P&WC products.
- Previous experience of OASES & CAMP software.
