NotBoxesHDI is one of the U.K. and Ireland's leading bedroom furniture installers. Based in Belfast, we provide furniture delivery and installation services throughout Scotland, the North of England and Ireland.

Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a new furniture installer to join our busy team based in our Belfast depot.

Picking, loading, delivery and installation of furniture as part of a team throughout the North and South of Ireland.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday - Flexible between 6am - 7pm. Some weekends may be available but will be negotiated in advance with management.

**Salary/Pension/Holidays**:
The hourly rate is negotiable and dependent on experience.

A NEST pension scheme is available if requested.

28 days paid holidays per year. Some fixed closures I.E. Christmas Day. And some others that are notified in advance.

**Qualifications**:
Educated to a basic level. English and Mathematics proficiency demonstrable.

Basic data entry skills and ability to use mobile devices.

Previous experience is optional as full training will be given.

**Essential Criteria**:
Ability to perform the duties required in lifting and installing furniture and meet the physical demands the role requires as described under the working environment.

Proficient in the use of power hand tools, equipment and assembly of components.

Ability to follow and act on both written and verbal instructions.

Full Driving Licence. Maximum 6 points.

**Person Specification**:
You will be an excellent team player whilst having the ability to work on your own initiative.

You will also be enthusiastic and genuinely interested in building furniture to an excellent standard.

**We also expect you to**:

- Be Punctual - Report to the workplace on time.
- Excellent communication skills - liaise effectively with colleagues, management, customers, and providers. Respond promptly to customer requests and listen to and relay feedback to management. Be polite and friendly whilst maintaining a professional relationship with customers. Be respectful of customer property.

**Responsibilities**:
Review the project with the lead installer, understand the scope of work and plan ahead for completing the project.

Observe safety and security procedures; determine appropriate action beyond guidelines. Operate in an organised and safe manner. Be aware of hazardous conditions, and report all unsafe conditions to management.

Think ahead - be efficient and productive.

Maintain tools and equipment and use the correct tools for the job.

Communicate with customers to inform, build trust and confidence, resolve issues, and enhance their overall experience.

**Working Environment**:
We operate in warehouses, customers' homes and on the road, where exposure to outside weather conditions is possible.

A basic uniform is provided, and all employees must be clean and presentable when entering customers' property. Basic hygiene is essential.

The noise level due to equipment and power tools is usually moderate.

The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, kneel and reach high and low. The employee must be able to safely lift and/or move up to 35kgs.

You may be required to cover duties in our other depot, based in Belfast.
