English Teacher needed at Ofsted good secondary school in Glossop, a passionate, enthusiastic Teacher is needed to join in January 2023 until the end of the school year. This is an exciting opportunity for any ECTs looking to build experience in a lovelyschool.
- Pay: £28,000 - £43,685

The school is in line with the national average for students with SEN, you will be expected to provide support to these students where necessary. You will be aided by the school’s large support-staff team who are committed to helping their colleagues deliveroutstanding sessions for all students.

Additional responsibilities:

- Attend regular parents’ evenings to provide detailed updates for the parents/guardians of your pupils
- Set engaging homework tasks, encouraging students to read in their own time as well as doing their own research into topics
- Liaise closely with support staff to help identify any students that would benefit from receiving extended support
- Partake in frequent departmental meetings, compiling detailed reports on attainment and highlighting any potential concerns you may have
- Work in an intervention basis with students in your cohort who are underachieving

The school has secure onsite parking and is accessible via the M67, Glossop train station is also a short walk away from the school with regular services running to and from Manchester Piccadilly and there are a number of bus stops surrounding the schoolwith services running all around the local area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
