Housekeeper/room Attendant

The Housekeeping Team is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in the guest rooms and public areas of our hotel. You will work closely with the hotel's housekeeping Team and maintenance staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained to the satisfaction of the hotel's guests.

As Housekeeper you will also be responsible for responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.

**Responsibilities**:
**Housekeeping Duties**:

- Clean guest rooms and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Restock guest room supplies, including toiletries and towels.
- Ensure that guest rooms are free of debris and clutter.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request additional supplies as needed.
- Follow all safety and security protocols established by the hotel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

- Attention to Detail: a keen eye for detail and take pride in you work. You can spot even the smallest speck of dirt or dust and ensure that every surface is thoroughly cleaned.
- Dependability: we need reliability and punctuality. Show up on time, ready to work, and can be counted on to complete their tasks as scheduled.
- Flexibility: you will need to be able to adapt to changing situations and be willing to adjust your cleaning routine to meet the needs of the company.
- Time Management: The ability to prioritize their tasks and complete them within a given timeframe is essential.
- Trustworthiness: honesty and trustworthiness are paramount. Our guests’ privacy and personal belongings must be respected to ensure that nothing is damaged during the cleaning process.
- Physical Fitness: a good level of physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks such as lifting relatively heavy objects, bending, and standing for long periods of time is a must.
- Communication Skills: good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions are vital. You should also be able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
- Positive Attitude: a positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential. You should take pride in your work and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that everyone is satisfied with the end results.

**Salary**: Up to £10.50 per hour
