If you enjoy working alongside the people you support, you’ll love working for us. Being garage based means you’ll be alongside our garage management team, our engineering managers, our drivers and our colleagues who support the garage. You’ll also provide support to our colleagues in Musselburgh, where our East Coast Buses operation is based, and you’ll likely visit the team there on a weekly basis.

As one of our three HR People Officers, you’ll provide robust and practical HR advice. You’ll have our suite of employment policies and management procedures to guide you, as well as the support of your HR People Team colleagues, however HR experience is essential, preferably gained in a fast paced environment.

2023 is an exciting year for us as we launch our new Business Plan and drive Lothian forward. We have some exciting people related objectives to achieve and as part of the HR People Team, you’ll help us deliver these objectives.

So, if you’re looking for a position that gives you plenty of opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience then this may well be the role for you.

We are looking for a proactive team player to join our strong and supportive HR People Team. There is a high level of casework and therefore experience of advising on ER matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, attendance, performance and wellbeing is a must.

You’ll be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You’ll also be highly organised.

You’ll ideally be CIPD qualified, or working towards it, but it’s not essential if you already have a wealth of HR experience.
