Helicopter Pilot

Role: Barton Base Pilot

Location: Manchester

Compensation: Competitive

Hours: Full time

Minimum Requirements:

- Hold an UK ATPL(H) or CPL(H) + IR
- Must live within a 45 minute drive or within 25 miles of Barton Base.

**The role**

As a Barton Base Pilot, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary with Mission Critical Services Onshore (MCSO), a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors.
- And on a Day to day, you’ll Support HEMS, as well as supporting the the Northwest Air Ambulance charity.
- Have Health and safety responsibilities and a strong understanding of required Aviation regulations.
- And is will conduct Single Pilot Operations

**Essential Experience required**:
Either:

- 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft of which 500 hours is pilot in command on twin turbine helicopters; or
- 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS/Police operations of which 500 hours is as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters.

Must have the following in addition to either of the above 2 points.
- 2000 hours minimum total helicopter experience
- 500 hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.
- 20 hours VFR at night as pilot in command.
- Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, Right to Work in the UK.
- Be qualified and instrument rated on the EC135.
- Have current or recent HEMS experience.
- Have experience of NVIS operations.

Pay: £68,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
