An opportunity had arisen within our small QC team based in Chesterfield for a QC Inspector

**The Role Will Involve**:

- Assisting with checking and recording details of inbound and outbound stock (quality control)
- Weighing and measuring products including working out cubes (cbm)
- Working through returned stock, palletising, sending to SB, assessing and make decisions based on findings
- Carrying out sample inspections on stock following complaints and producing quality reports to feed back to management.
- Performing rework tasks where needed.
- Liaising regularly as to priorities for that day
- Operating (once trained if applicable) several FLTs (Bendi/Pump Trucks/Counterbalance)
- Lifting (in line with HSE guidelines) various products to complete the tasks required
- Keeping the warehouse and work area clean and tidy
- Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards

**You Will**:

- Ideally have proven experience within a similar role (although not essential as a willingness to learn and progress will also be considered)
- Have a passion for procedure and strive for high quality standards.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn/develop
- Ideally hold a ‘Bendi/Flexi’ FLT licence, and demonstrate recent operation
- Display good attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
- Possess good communication skills to enable efficient team work
- Be able to liaise with different teams effectively and work on own initiative to get the job finished correctly.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, warehouse based, working environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
