Bakery Assistant

Bakery Assistant

**Duties**:

- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes
- Mix, knead, and shape dough
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and garnish baked goods as required
- Package and label finished products for display or delivery
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.**
