Draughtsman/woman

R.A.D Engineering Limited is a family-run steel fabrication business based in Beaulieu near Southampton. We are currently expanding and need a Draughtsman/woman to join our team.

**Job Role**
- Liaise with clients, project managers and directors to produce drawings based upon required specifications.
- Check accuracy of third-party drawings prior to implementation.
- Produce accurate fabrication drawings for the workshop using Advanced Steel CAD package.
- Manage your own time to ensure project deadlines are met.

**Skill Requirements**
- Proficient interpretation of architectural design, construction and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience in producing detailed structural drawings using Advanced Steel, AutoCAD or an equivalent CAD package.
- Excellent communication skills. Successful applicants will be able to effectively communicate at all employment levels. Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary to communicate directly with clients and facilitate project requirements to the team in order to complete projects efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills, prioritising workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Self-Motivation. Successful applicants will be able to work independently and work well within a team.

Part time and full time hours are available and can be discussed at interview stage.

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
