Infrastructure Engineer (VMWARE)

Excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established and growing automotive business, offering autonomy and technical leadership.
This company have been established for over 60 years and provide word leading automotive products and services. They have recently been undergoing a period of modernisation through their tech team and are looking for an Infrastructure engineer to join the team.
In this role you will deliver improvement projects within the technology roadmap and ensure high availability of systems. You will implement network monitoring processes and be responsible for identifying and reporting security vulnerabilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to assist in leading the technical delivery of improvement projects in an autonomous and varied role.
The Role:
*Lifecycle management of Servers, Networks, Security, Storage and Disaster recovery
*Assisting with the design and delivery of infrastructure projects
*Report system deficiencies and create solutions
*Office based 4 days per week in Plymouth (1 day remote)
The Person:
*Experience with switches, routers & firewalls
*Experience in Windows Servers, VMware, Intune and MDM
*You will have a good understanding of Cyber Security essentials and any experience maintain or achieve cyber security accreditation is highly desirable
