**Junior Data scientist**

**£30K - £35K**

**Based in Reading, Hybrid working (1-2 days a week)**

**The Company**

Our award-winning Insuretech client provide a modern digital-first approach to insurance. Their aim is to provide flexibility and control for the customer using Data across pricing, underwriting, customer engagement and claims. Our clients forensic focuson loss ratio and unit economics is what separates our client to the competition.

**The Role**
- Design and develop data models to support business decisions
- Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources
- Develop data visualization solutions to support data exploration
- Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends and patterns
- Create predictive models to support business decisions

**The experience we are looking for**
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau & Power BI
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry
- Passion for data and an ambitious problem solving attitude
- University Degree preferably in Computer Science or Relevant Data related Degrees
