Salon Assistant

We are seeking a hard working and motivated Salon Assistant to join our team at Apparicio hairdressing & Aesthetics. As a Salon Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our stylists and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the beauty industry and work alongside experienced professionals, in a salon that has been welcoming clients for 27 years.

Job Role
- Assist stylists with various tasks such as shampooing, conditioning, & preparing colour.
- Prepare salon stations for appointments by ensuring they are clean and presentable.
- Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Schedule appointments and manage the stylists diary’s, taking card and cash payments
- Maintain a clean and organized salon environment
- Assist with inventory, including restocking products and supplies
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls.

Experience
- Previous experience would be ideal if you have worked in a service industry before, so have an understanding of the expectatio.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of front desk operations and appointment scheduling systems is preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn and grow
