An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the passenger transport team at Cambridgeshire County County as a full time, permanent transport officer with a competitive salary.

To co-ordinate day to day passenger transport operations for education and children’s social care across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and ensuring transport is provided in an efficient and cost-effective way in accordance with statutory requirements and within the policies of the Councils.

Main duties include procuring and setting up transport with current legislation and LA policies. Liaising with schools, operators and parent/carers.

Assist with the tendering and procurement of education and child social care transport services including assisting with the preparation of Service Specifications and tendering documentation for competitive tendering processes ensuring that current legislation and the respective Council’s Contract Rules are adhered to.
