**Job Title**: Scottish Law Fee Earner

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage a caseload of Personal Injury cases with a focus on litigated RTA files.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior staff in RTA law, procedures, court process, and attendance.
- Handle liability, quantum, and costs matters, including expertise in the mechanics of the Part 36 procedure and relevant protocols.
- Deal with technical points of insurance law, such as MIB work, European Regulations, and Article 75 issues.

**Job Role Summary**:

- Conduct matters within your competency, adhering to defined policies and procedures.
- Arrange and attend appointments with clients, providing advice on course of action, case length, and cost.
- Instruct counsel, experts, or other third parties as necessary, and review reports.
- Attend hearings and conferences, obtain and review evidence and statements.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients and liaise with opponents to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Ensure efficient progress of all matters, prioritizing work and keeping clients informed.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Scottish Law, preferably with dual qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of the RTA Process and proven track record in RTA litigation.
- Familiarity with liability, quantum, and costs matters, including Part 36 procedure and insurance law technicalities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
