We are on the hunt for super stars to join us in our quest delivering delicious baked goods and hot drinks to the local community.

You will become a valuable member of the team working both alongside and independently from the owner - you will be required to work alone as well as with other team members. You will need to use your initiative and be truly passionate about driving business and taking responsibility to contribute to our success - we are a family business with BIG dreams

We are looking for a customer facing, coffee lover who is a proactive and positive person with an interest in baking. You will be familiar with food hygiene best practices, hold a full clean UK driving licence and really care about upholding our brand values and providing excellent customer service

Full training and uniform will be provided upon completion of a successful probation period.

**Main duties**
- Greet customers, answer questions, take orders, accept payments and prepare and serve drinks and bakes/food.
- You will maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and counter area and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods and presentation.

**Responsibilities**
- You will prepare beverages by grinding coffee, brewing teas and preparing our speciality hot chocolates and seasonal cold options.
- Cleaning to a high level including regular deep cleans of the van exterior and interior fixtures and fittings - emptying and cleaning rubbish bins and sanitizing equipment and utensils/work surfaces.
- You will be a keyholder for the van so will be responsible for ensuring the van is secure at the end of each shift.
- Presenting our products in an enticing and attractive way to improve sales.
- Updating signage and displays to attract customers and to ensure allergen information is conveyed clearly to customers.
- Taking inventory daily and replenishing items where appropriate and communicating when additional stocks are required.
- Working as part of a fun, approachable team.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and controls.

**Hours**
- Initial 10 - 12 hours per week depending on business demands and the seasonal nature of our business.
- Normal working hours 9.30am - 4.30pm.
- Additional hours may be available for events as well.
- This is a part-time, permanent role.

**Education**
- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**
- Food and beverage preparation & handling: 1 year (required)
- Customer Service: 1 year (required)
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work around peak hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- A polite, engaging personality.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

**Supervision received**
- You will be line managed by the owners. The post holder is expected to be able to manage their workload effectively and work with limited day to day supervision.

**Terms and conditions**

This is a permanent, part time post and the hours are as previously detailed; daily working hours will be by agreement in advance. The post holder will be required to occasionally work out of hours or at events.

Individual tasks within the role will vary according to the nature of the role, the core duties are outlined to indicate the level of responsibility. It is not a comprehensive or exhaustive list and the owners/managers may vary duties from time to time which do not change the general character of the job or the level of responsibility but reflect the needs of the business at the time.
