We are looking for a Laundry Operative. Previous experience is preferred.

Flexibility is required as we operate in a customer driven market.

**Job Summary**:The Laundry Operator will set up and operate machinery to wash clothing

**Duties/Responsibilities**:
Label items upon receipt and includes cleaning instructions with items. Remove any spots and stains using appropriate solvents, chemicals, detergents, or other cleaning agents.

You will be required to operate washing machines, tumble driers, including pressing and ironing garments.

Hangs or folds items when cleaning process is complete.

Inspects machinery and performs daily checks.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:
Ability to read customer instructions regarding requested cleaning methods and stain removal.

Ability to read and follow manuals for use of cleaning agents. Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and dry-cleaning equipment.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to learn software used to prepare cleaning tickets.

Excellent customer service skills.

Training will be provided

Days of shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

6 Hours a day

Late Shift.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
