**Sales Consultant - Competitive Salary and uncapped commission - Central London**

**The Role
Do you possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail sales, coupled with an interest or qualification in interior design or furniture/ fabric? Are you passionate about providing good customer service? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are a retailer of classically inspired handmade beds and furniture, looking to appoint a confident and hardworking Sales Consultant to deliver individual targets and contributing to the showroom performance. Deliver a high standard of personal sellingin line with Brand values and the delivery of a premium shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

The key responsibilities of a Sales Consultant include, but are not limited to:
**Maximise profitable orders**
- Achieve individual monthly and yearly sales targets (orders, Sales, Margin and mix)
- Maintain the highest shopping experience (greeting,engagement, informing, cross-selling, closing)
- Follow-up on existing sales leads and outstanding quotes (providing information, closing)
- Adhere to sales and marketing instructions (promotions, visual merchandising etc.)
- Provide high level of service in line with the Brand Values in store and via telephone
- Manage the payment journey (deposit and paid in full prior to delivery)

**Maximize margins**
- Understand how to maximize margins to generate bottom line results
- Use cross selling to maximize margins and/or prioritize high margin items
- Develop detailed understanding of all range’s features, benefits and margin contributions

**Policies and procedures**
- Compliance onthe company HR policies and legal requirements (discipline, working hours, EHS, appraisal H&S)
- Coordinate with retail support department to process orders accurately and swiftly to avoid any delays or business costs resulting from Store errors
- Understand and use relevant BW / SAP reports to monitor outgoing deliveries to timescale and communicate with customers as appropriate
- Keeping the shop inside and outside tidy and according to the brand/retail guidelines
- Ensure the appropriate promotional messaging is in place at all times.

**KPIs**
- Weekly, monthly and yearly order Intake, delivered sales
- Product mix, percentage and absolute gross margin
- Attain appropriate scoringfrom mystery shopping programme
- Achieve self-development targets set by line manager

**The Person
The key/preferableskills and qualities of a Sales Consultant are:

- 2/3years experience in retail sales, preferably in high end and/or furniture
- Interest / qualification in Interior Design and or furniture/ fabric
- Ability to work in a small and lean organization, hands-on, motivated and a team player
