Geoenvironmental Consultant

A highly regarded, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy require a committed and motivated Geoenvironmental consultant in Nottingham.
It is essential for applicants to have a degree in geology, or a suitable Environmental Studies degree, and a full UK clean driving license. It would be beneficial to have a master's degree and some previous experience in supervising and undertaking groundinvestigations for contaminated land and geotechnical assessments.
The role will involve:
- Tier 1 desk studies
- Site walkovers, data reviews and liaising with stakeholders to assess contaminated land and geotechnical risks
- Supervise ground investigations
- Management and scheduling samples for contaminated land and geotechnical testing
- Assist in preparing Tier 2 geoenvironmental assessment reports
- Order and organise site equipment
