Road Freight Operator

An exciting opportunity for an experienced European transport operator to join a vibrant success culture with this upcoming successful freight forwarder.
This successful company is held in high regard at local level - renowned for their excellent service levels, and very low staff turnover. A solid team of 28 existing staff will welcome a new and eager operator with existing and proven skill in overland planning/operations, liaisons with hauliers, LTL/ FTL, and customer service.
The fortunate new recruit will work and adapt quickly to the demands of a very busy European transport operation, and as part of a wider team of ocean operators and support staff. State of the art software will allow you to adapt your skills quickly and effectively.Experience is essential - but an eager and willing attitude is of paramount importance.
Working with a team who insist of helping each other handle volumes, and ensure that no employee is unsupported, a team player attitude is of absolutely key. Your surroundings will be modern, newly renovated and providing a modern kitchen area for relaxing/lunches/ socialising. The site also provides plenty of activities to provide the ability to really ‘break-away’ from the desk and make the most of the various games and sports activities provided on site - which will soon include a gym and showers.
As a skilled overland operator, you will have a clear focus on the time windows and put your eye for details and your excellent inter-personal and customer service skill to best use, in a rewarding, positive and supportive environment.
