On behalf of Our client who is within the financial /banking sectors, AMS are looking for **Mail Sorter **for a 3 month contract based in **Gogarburn, Edinburgh**

**Purpose of the Role**:
This role is based within the sorting department, this is where all mail for the society comes into. You will be responsible for manually sorting through large volumes of packages to put in weight categories

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred however not essential as full training will be provided.

**As a Mail Sorter, you will be responsible for**:

- Sorting Packages into weight categories and inputting barcode data into Spreadsheets
- Creating and Manifesting Outgoing Time critical documents
- Bagging documents and matching them to labels and letters
- Quality Checks on outgoing Documents to ensure no data breaches occur

**What we require from you**:

- A self-motivator who is able to work on their own and also as part of a team.
- Being able to produce a high work rate in a fast paced environment.

**Please Note**:

- Working Hours: 7AM - 3PM (35 hours a week)
