Food Production Operative

Seaham, United Kingdom Staff Power Group Full time

Staffpower are recruiting for an award winning cheese manufacturer based in Seaham for a genuine temp to perm opportunity.

**MUST be able to get to Seaham Grange Industrial Estate for 6am starts**

You will be working in the food preparation area carrying our various tasks involved in the production of the finished product.

**Duties include**
- Loading blocks of cheese on to the production line (can be up to 20kg so must be physically fit)
- Quality checking of product
- Packing finished product in to boxes
- Carrying out all food hygiene best practices
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

**Person Specification**
- Previous production experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Strong work ethic
- Strong team player

**Hours and Pay**

Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week

All breaks are paid meaning you get paid for the full 40 hours you are at work.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
