The First Point of Contact sits at the front door of Calderdale Open Minds (CAMHS). Our expertise lies in supporting children, young people, parents/carers, and professionals to identify and access support in relation to their emotional wellbeing and/or assessment for Autism and ADHD pathways for the children and young people of Calderdale. The First Point of Contact continues to see a monthly increase in referrals resulting in the workplace being a fast paced and responsive environment.

We have a unique opportunity for a Neurodevelopmental Choice Navigator to join Northpoint. This role will involve working in Halifax on a permanent contract and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. **What you will be doing as our Neurodevelopmental Choice Navigator**:
The role of Neurodevelopmental Choice Navigator is responsible for ensuring the provision of impartial, factual and accessible information about the ‘Right to Choose’ where to access a neurodevelopmental assessment for Autism / ADHD. A core element of the role is providing a point of contact for people who may be seeking further information to understand the ‘Right to Choose’ process, including those from the following groups, Children and young people, Parent/carers, Adults, GPs & Other professionals.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Sound understanding of Neurodevelopmental Conditions
- A proven ability to liaise with stakeholders and professionals
- Experience of empowering people to make decisions
