The Quality Matron will support the inpatient team to deliver high quality care through clinical leadership., Ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, clinical care and consistent achievement of care standards. This will be in line with the nationally agreed 10 key responsibilities set out in the matrons handbook as below: Inclusive leadership, professional standards and accountability Governance, patient safety and quality Workforce planning and resource management Patient experience and reducing health inequalities Performance and operational oversight Digital and information technology Education, training and development Research and development Collaborative working and clinical effectiveness Service improvement and transformation. The post holder will deliver transformation of clinical services to best meet the needs of the population within the older adult inpatient services. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team the post holder will provide Quality Leadership to facilitate consistent best practice, this will include taking a key role in the future shaping and development of services.
