Head of Commercial Commissioning

Peterborough People Division has redesigned its commissioning service, and is looking to
recruit a dynamic, experienced, commercial individual.

This is an exciting new strategic role that will lead on the development and delivery of the commercial commissioning function for the entirety of adult and children’s social care commissioning for Peterborough City Council.

A unique role for Peterborough City Council contributing to management of budgets, uplifts and negotiations with the independent sector. The Head of Commissioning for Commercial will hold accountability for ensuring the commercial elements of services commissioned and developed deliver against within budgetary requirement and also leads on the delivery of savings opportunities in line with the MTFS.
