We are looking for an experienced and professional Administrator/Receptionist to join our client's office in Blyth as front of house. If you have an enhanced DBS and experience within a fast paced, think on your feet environment read below

**Hours**: 37 hours
- term time plus 12 days (39.4 weeks)

**Salary**:£18,005-£18,332 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with clerical support including, photocopying, filing, faxing, completing routine forms, updating spreadsheets and databases and word-processing documents
- Administration of class registers and school meal register
- Distribute post
- Maintaining records, organise meetings and events as directed
- Maintain office systems, diaries, write and send information/letters to parents and pupils
- Ordering and stocktaking in accordance with purchasing procedures
- Arrange servicing and repairs of equipment
- Arrange security and orderly storage of supplies
- Assist in reconciling and security of petty cash, dinner money, cheques etc in accordance with procedure
- Support the finance function under direction of the Head, Office Manager and Head Office
- Assist with first aid and welfare, looking after unwell pupils
- liaising with parents accordingly
- Collate pupils reports as required

Daily responsibilities:

- Helping late children accordingly
- Helping taxi children accordingly
- Packed lunches and PE kits coming to the office
- Data sheets
- FSM updates
- School nurse visits
- eye tests, flu, heights and weights
- Newsletters
- Online updates
- Quotes for trips
- Help with milk distribution
- Aid with dinner numbers, registers
- Debt chasing
- Be highly organised and able to demonstrate good knowledge and experience of administrative systems
- Be experienced and confident in the use of ICT
- Deliver a high quality customer service and be able to communicate effectively with a range of audiences
- Be an enthusiastic team player
- Form excellent relationships with staff, parents and children
- Be flexible and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Be thoroughly professional, understanding issues of confidentiality and the need to protect the welfare of children
- Be able to demonstrate that they are able to use their own initiative.
