Cafe Assistant

One Market Street Cafe has a vacancy for a cafe assistant for 3 days a week to join our small, friendly team. We are an independent, busy cafe in a small market town.

This role will involve greeting and seating customers, taking customers' orders, food preparation, clearing tables, use of the till, working as a team, washing up, helping to keep things clean and tidy and general needs of the cafe.

You must be available to work on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 9.30am - 2pm, with some flexibility for additional hours, depending on the season, staffing levels and workload.

There is the opportunity for additional training, including a barista course. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in hospitality or in customer service and food preparation, but this is not essential.

National minimum wage applies.
